How to Build Your Niche and Make Money
Online
It might surprise you to know that it was as recent as 1999 when the
dot.com boom changed the way we think about the Internet. Many
businesses that failed to make money online, after burning through their
initial investment capital, went under as the bubble burst in 2001, but
this didn’t deter everyone, and by 2002 the web had become omnipresent.
Today there are millions of people trying to break into the online
marketing scene and many of them now seem to be printing money in their
living rooms!
One of the biggest mistakes you can make as you search for ways to make money online is to look for a quick method for fast cash. You’re going to spend thousands of dollars and make a
whole lot of others rich in the process. For example, if I were to write a manual on
how to be successful in the insurance business, I could do it in a way
that made it seem so simple that anyone could do it. Why? Because I spent years mastering the craft
and I understand it, inside and out! It's because of hard work
and investment of time that I can do this. This is why
Internet marketers can make money off their “how to make money quick”
books...because they make it seem simple.
There are two ways you can approach Internet marketing...fast cash or
lasting cash. If you’re serious about building a sustainable business
online, your best bet is to hire a coach with proven ability who
can guide you through the process of making your niche work for you.
Let’s face it, there is so much to learn about Internet marketing,
especially if you’re not a techie (SEO, PLR, Keywords, backlinks, etc.), these categories alone will have you drowning in information. If you’ve been trying to break into
this business for some time, chances are you have a ton of material
clogging up your hard drive along with mountains of paper collecting
dust in a back room somewhere. There comes a certain point where your
brain goes into information overload and you become unable to learn anything more. Trying to do everything isn’t making the best use of
your time. Outsource some of the mechanics of building
your business and focus on what you know.
This is why it’s so important to hire a coach if you’re serious
about building a successful online business. Be prepared to
work hard to build a solid reputation that will start the cash
flowing in like a river. Submit your best work all the time and over-deliver every time. Don’t forget the importance of customer service.
Building a business online isn’t that much different than an old-fashioned
bricks and mortar operation, except now you have the potential of reaching millions of people worldwide.
Satisfied customers will give you referrals, while dissatisfied
customers could be your downfall.

The Law of Attraction
What is the law of attraction anyway? It’s the idea that if you really
want something and truly believe it’s possible, you’ll get it. Thoughts,
whether they’re positive or negative, will influence your subconscious
to take over and manifest those thoughts into reality.
Long before the term “the law of attraction” became popular, this
premise was already working for many people. Some refer to it as having
confidence or a positive mental attitude while still others see it as
universal support. If you want something and
truly believe that it’s possible to get it, then providence will step
in, moving you closer to the goal.
We've all heard the phrase: “The mind is a powerful thing.”
The question is: How do you develop your mind and make the law of attraction work for you?
The best thing to do if you want to achieve a goal is to write it down.
Then post it on the wall someplace where you’ll see it every day. This
will imprint the goal in your mind, and your subconscious will
begin to work in the background to influence your choices that will
bring you closer and closer to your goal. Before you know it, you’ll
have achieved the thing that you were working for. This works in all
manner of personal development.
You might think that this sounds silly and there’s no way that thinking
something will make it happen. I used to feel this way
too. That is, until I tried it. I tried it at two different times and
for two different reasons.
The first time was to improve my attitude from one that was negative and
uncertain to one that was positive and confident. I posted affirmations
of all manner everywhere I would see them throughout my house, in the
bedroom, on the fridge and over my computer desk. I don’t even know how
it happened, but one day I had people telling me that they had never met
such a positive and outgoing person!
The next time I tried it was at the beginning of a new year. I sat down
and wrote out my wish list as it related to my physical and spiritual
self. I held nothing back...whatever I longed for I put on this list. I
taped it to my mirror and went about business for the year.
At the end of the year I was astonished to discover that I had
accomplished nearly every goal that I had set! I had no idea at the
beginning of the year how I could possibly attain some of the things I
had wished for, and yet it happened all the same!
With the right mindset I believe it's possible to achieve what you wish for. It may take some time, but if you’re thinking you
can’t do it, then you’re probably right. Your mind will make it so.

The Truth About Weight Loss
Everywhere you look, whether in books stores, grocery stores or the
Internet, headlines on weight loss from diet gurus scream out to you, guaranteeing they have the answer to take off the excess weight you’ve been carrying
around for years...safely, easily and permanently! “The answer lies in
LAP Band Surgery!” cries one. “Obesity is not your fault!” declares
another. With claims like this, one wonders why obesity has reached
epidemic proportions all over the world!
Elimination diets, restricted diets, natural herbs; every method from
pills and injections to surgery flood the media as marketers
weave their magic in hopes of convincing you that their product is the answer-the only answer. If you’re
desperate about your condition, you want the weight
to come off immediately and effortlessly. Marketers use your pain
to cash in on the millions of dollars that people just like you are
spending on weight loss products every day!
Chances are good that if you’ve been carrying around excess weight for a
while, you want an immediate solution.
You’ve had about all you can stand from family and friends dispensing
their well meaning advice. Whispered comments and contemptuous looks
from strangers have battered your self- image to an all time low. You
struggle with indecision over what to eat and when to eat, and before
long, you’re so obsessed with food that it’s all you can think about.
You’ve probably tried many different diets and maybe even had some
successes. But more often than not, just as soon as you go off the diet,
all the weight you’ve lost plus a little bit more creeps back on. Even
exercise doesn’t seem to work. You lack the energy and motivation to go to the
gym, even though deep down you know that as your body adjusts to the
workouts, your energy level will increase. You finally get to the point
where you believe all is hopeless and indulge in yet another binge.
Excess weight may not be your fault, but it is your problem. When I say
it isn’t your fault, I mean that you might not have the education
and awareness to know which foods to eat or what exercise to engage in
to shed those extra pounds. Emotional issues can also play a part in
weight gain, so counseling may be necessary if this is your problem.
Diets don’t work! Lifestyle changes do! To change your situation, it's a good idea to enlist the help of your doctor. Have them refer you to a certified dietician or
nutritionist, or better yet, hire a personal trainer. Personal trainers
are professionals who can give you nutritional advice and encouragement
along the way to attaining permanent weight loss.
It’s important to realize that losing a significant amount of weight can
be very disconcerting, so again, counseling could be needed. The truth
is this: it’s going to take hard work, determination and support to reach
your goal, and ongoing support to maintain it.
